Seasonal Packing + Fulfillment Worker Job Description:
As a Seasonal Packing and Fulfillment Worker, you will – during peak seasonal periods -- play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of merchandise and products for display on our showroom floor (primarily), or, in some cases, for special orders or online orders. You will collaborate with the Len Libby team to maintain an efficient workflow and deliver a positive customer experience through accurate, on-time packaging. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with team members and adhering to established procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carefully and accurately package products according to guidelines provided by
supervisor
- Perform regular quality checks on packed items to ensure they meet company standards
- Report any damaged or defective products to the supervisor
- Work efficiently to meet daily packing quotas
- Assist in maintaining an organized and clean packing area
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Collaborate with colleagues to address any issues or concerns
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent workplace accidents
- Properly handle materials or items requiring special care
- Adapt to changes in workload, tasks, and priorities as required by seasonal demand

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow strict instructions
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Basic computer skills (helpful but not necessary)
- Physical ability to stand, lift, and move items throughout the shift
- Previous packing or fulfillment experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to quickly shift priority and go with the flow of production

Duration:
- This is a seasonal position, typically lasting for the duration of peak demand periods (e.g., holiday seasons, promotional events). The exact duration will be communicated during the hiring process.

Retail Sales Associate Job Description:
As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in a fast-paced retail environment. You will be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining store appearance, keeping items stocked and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your primary objective will be to meet or exceed sales goals while delivering excellent service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
-Customer Assistance: Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and provide assistance and recommendations on products or services. Offer product knowledge, features and benefits to help customers make informed purchase decisions.
-Sales Generation: Actively engage with customers to promote and sell products or services. Use persuasive selling techniques, such as upselling and cross-selling, to maximize sales opportunities. Meet or exceed individual and store sales targets.
-Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of the merchandise available in the store, including features, benefits and pricing. Stay up-to-date with product trends and new arrivals. Share product knowledge with customers to enhance their shopping experience.
-Cashier/Point of Sale: Accurately process customer transactions, including cash, credit card and electronic payments, using the store's Shopify point-of-sale (POS) system.
-Merchandising and Store Presentation: Ensure the sales floor is visually appealing, well-stocked, and organized at all times. Assist with receiving, unpacking and replenishing merchandise. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the store, including display areas, bathrooms and common areas.
-Customer Service: Provide exceptional service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaint, and handling customer requests in a friendly and professional manner. Strive to create a positive and personalized shopping experience for each customer.
-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment. Support colleagues during busy periods, assist with inventory management and participate in store-wide promotional activities.
-Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Follow all company policies, procedures and guidelines, including those related to cash-handling, safety, security and loss prevention. Adhere to scheduling and attendance policies.

Qualifications and Requirements:
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Ability to provide excellent customer service and build rapport with customers
-Knowledge of sales techniques and ability to meet or exceed sales targets
-Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling a plus
-Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
-Physical ability to stand, walk and lift objects frequently
-Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and extended hours as needed
