Shipping policy
This shipping policy applies to customers that make a purchase at www.lenlibby.com, and for customers who place a shipping order over the phone, through the SHOP app, or in store with one of our representatives. Shipping Options and Delivery Costs:
We currently only offer shipping through USPS Priority mail and FedEx Express. Shipping rates are automatically calculated based on package weight and delivery location. Please note that the Post Office and FedEx do not guarantee any delivery timeframes. Len Libby Candies cannot be held responsible for delayed or missing packages.
USPS is currently experiencing major delays in some areas and it may take extra time to receive your package once it leaves our facility. The delivery estimate is subject to change, please allow extra time for the delivery of your package
Order Processing Time:
We are currently shipping Monday - Wednesday. All orders placed before 11:00 am will be processed the same day. Any orders placed after 11:00 am on Wednesday will not be processed until the following Monday. Federal Holidays depending. We send out packages in the order they arrive, so please allow up three business days before your package leaves our facility.
Please note that we receive a high volume of shipping orders in the weeks surrounding major holidays, and may require additional time to process orders during those times. It could take up to 5 days before your order leaves our facility. The United States Postal Service and FedEx also gets backed up around this time and it may take longer to receive your order once it has left our facility. Please plan accordingly when ordering during these times.
Delivery and Billing Addresses:
Please double check your shipping and billing addresses for accuracy, and provide as much information as possible. We are unable to edit billing & shipping addresses once you have placed your order. Len Libby Candies is not responsible for incorrect shipping addresses.
Shipping Locations and International Orders:
We ship anywhere in the United States with the exception of California. We are sorry but we are unable to ship internationally.
Tracking Your Order:
Once your order has shipped you will automatically receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Please note that you must provide a valid email address if you would like to receive tracking information. If you do not provide a valid email address, you will not receive tracking information.
Holding Orders:
To ensure order accuracy and timely delivery we are no longer holding orders for shipment on a certain date. Please place your order with the understanding that your order will be shipped as soon as possible. Orders will be shipped in the order they arrive, and we do not hold shipping orders to go out at a later date. All of our candies have a shelf life of at least a month, so if you are worried about something running out during peak times, you should
Warm Weather Shipping Advisory:
As of May 11th, 2026 Our Hot weather shipping advisory is in effect for ALL shipping orders.
Our hot weather shipping advisory is always in effect for orders shipping to warm climates. The warm weather shipping advisory only goes into effect for everyone when temperatures in Maine are consistently above 70°F
We strongly advise against shipping chocolate during the warmer months. Please note that our ice packs are only good for 24 hours, and though we try our best, there is a possibility that your chocolate will arrive melted or in poor condition. If you or your recipient live in a warmer climate state and choose to ship chocolate, please understand that our small, family business cannot refund or replace items that arrive in poor condition. Though it may not look the best, we can tell you that once the chocolate sets up again, it will still taste perfectly yummy!
Please order chocolates at your own risk, Len Libby Candies is not responsible for packages that arrive melted or in poor condition.
